White fillings also called composite fillings are made from tooth-colored materials that restore the natural appearance of a decayed or discolored tooth. A white filling requires only a single visit to our office, where the tooth gets prepared as well as restored. The advantage of white fillings is that they require a much more conservative preparation of the tooth therefore preserving most of the healthy structure of the existing tooth.
